Working as a Teamleader at GXO Logistics - Tilburg

Then you should definitely continue reading, because we are looking for multiple enthusiastic Team Leaders for our warehouse in Tilburg.


Your tasks as a Teamleader
As a Teamleader you are responsible for the processes and the team within your own department. You are constantly managing and motivating your team, you also strive for process improvements and you have an affinity with Lean (5S). In a team of several Teamleaders you work closely together with various departments within the organization. You are also responsible for the appraisal and coaching of your employees and you guide them through change processes. You are responsible for quality and productivity numbers and you coordinate operational activities within your department. You are also involved in setting up a sharp staffing and you ensure proper time registration.


For our warehouse in Tilburg we are looking for Teamleaders for the department: 


  • Teamleader Outbound (positions on picking, packing and shipping): 3 shifts, 33,6 hours, Monday till Sunday
  • Teamleader Outbound New Brands: 3 shifts, 38 hours, Monday till Sunday
  • Teamleader Inbound: 40 hours, Monday till Friday



Other tasks and responsibilities:

  • Instruct, inform and support the employees of the department, so that the work is carried out safely, efficiently and correctly, in accordance with the applicable standards (including KPI’s and productivities)
  • Training, evaluation and appraisal of the employees of the relevant department
  • Ensure that the work instructions are up-to-date and available in the warehouse
  • Ensure that the warehouse is tidy and structured
  • Continually strive to improve the processes of your department
  • Setting up a sharp staffing planning



What do you own:

  • You have at least MBO (post-secondary college) level of work and thinking, where necessary additional relevant diplomas and certificates for the department
  • You have at least two years of experience in a managerial position
  • You have good communication skills at multiple levels in English (Dutch language is a nice to have)
  • You have an enthusiastic and flexible attitude and you have a self-starting ability
  • You have good knowledge of office software and WMS functionality
