What do you do as Operational Support Manager?
As Operational Support Manager you are involved with various operational implementation plan within the supply chain to start a new site and / or to bring an operation back on schedule on an existing site (troubleshooting). In this role you trade on a regional level and you will travel to various sites within the BENEGE, where you are needed.

Your duties will be;
• Enter into dialogue with various internal stakeholders who are part of the implementation (HR, IT, Operations, etc.) and thereby develop standard operational procedures (SOPs).
• Provide tools to the site team to track and report on existing Key Performance Indicators.
• Provide a work planning tool tailored to the customer and agreed operational processes.
• Identify and purchase all necessary investment costs to support the successful launch of operation.
• Ensure that logistical requirements are met when designing products, developments in the supply chain and related quality performance.
• Secure availability of accurate implementation plans for technical changes and challenge the project about timing and impact of the supply chain. Check the correct implementation of this implementation plan.
• Support for project leaders in the management of product-critical paths within the triple boundaries limitation (quality, timing, costs).
• Encourage the preparation of the supply chain and report the progress for new, revised and phase-out components.
• Define and implement projects to stimulate preparation within the sector.
• Manage phasing out of products in supply chain in product-crossing product team.

What do we need?
• Education on a bachelor's or master's degree in logistics.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, whereby you have demonstrable results of starting up and / or improving operational processes.
• Strong communicator with decisiveness.
• Leading by example and not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty
• Good oral and written skills in English, Dutch and preferably one of the following

Future work environment: 
As operational support manager you will work in different warehouses within the BENEGE region. The team consists of a mix of different nationalities, young and old. The atmosphere is informal and pleasant.
