Do you have a proven track record of creating and delivering training material at a managerial level? Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can support site teams in achieving their full potential? Can you act as our ambassador for learning and actively promote a learning culture across site? Due to an internal move, our ASOS site in Barnsley is currently recruiting for a Talent & Development Advisor to join us on a full-time, permanent basis working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.


Pay, benefits and more:


We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £32,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Create, present and deliver workshops to Team Leaders & Managers on a variety of subjects
  • Support the on-site talent management programme, build and deliver programmes to identify and develop the sites emerging talent contributing to building a site succession plan at all levels
  • Evaluate our current learning platform ensuring it is being used effectively and recommend improvements. You will also ensure records are kept up to date and are accurate
  • Support managers to build personal development plans for their team members that are fit for purpose, building capability in both current and future roles


What you need to succeed at XPO:


  • Experience delivering training material & knowledge of the end-to-end training cycle
  • Strong leadership skills including motivation and team working
  • Ability to influence others to deliver excellent results
  • Knowledge of working with manual handling equipment is desirable – bonus points if you’re NEBOSH or IOSH qualified!
