We are currently looking for full time, permanent Warehouse Operatives to join us at our site in Dover. The ideal candidate will have a valid Bendi or Reach truck licence and relevant experience in similar role. This role is working 42.5 hours per week and the shifts are 7-4pm and a 9-6pm with some weekend working and a start date of 1st February. You will need to be SC cleared prior to start due to nature of the contract.

What you will do on a typical day


  • Operate MHE in accordance with the training provided and within the H&S Regulations. Carryout and record daily pre-use inspections of all vehicles reporting defects and faults where necessary. Carryout safety checks on racking, pallet conditions and lighting etc as per check sheets.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all ISO Procedures and Work Instructions and to comply with all risk assessments and safe systems to work issued.
  • To carryout warehouse and compound duties where instructed such as loading and unloading of vehicles, picks and putaways, stock checks etc.
  • To carry out a 100% check of all goods/vehicles being received or dispatched against the paperwork and record all discrepancies/breakages/damage found.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and neatly as instructed.
  • Use RF equipment for putaways, picks, movements and general enquiries
  • Keep warehouse and compound tidy free from rubbish and litter and where instructed, carryout general maintenance duties. Look for energy and efficiency savings where possible.
  • Any other duties that may be deemed to be within your capabilities and commensurate with your role.
