What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Partner with sales leaders, sales operations personnel and HR team members to drive impactful learning and development projects
  • Drive process improvement projects and challenge the business to eliminate duplicate processes and waste in the sales and sales support functions
  • Assess developmental needs of the sales teams and provide recommendations, training designs and plans to drive impact sales effectiveness
  • Create and curate content from various business partners to ensure consistency with global sales process and associated tools
  • Facilitate sales-related development events and programs, including role-play exercises, sales meetings, training events, coaching calls, etc.
  • Partner closely with Global Sales Operations to drive adoption of OneCRM (Salesforce)
  • Propose and track key performance metrics associated with sales development activities, and provide guidance to the business leaders on impact and opportunities

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or Supply Chain Management
  • Demonstrated experience in sales or a sales-related role
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and CRM tools
  • Facilitation, instruction and development planning experience
  • Experience in process improvement and change management
  • Understanding of HR methodologies, sales processes and methodologies, program management and project planning

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Master’s degree in Education, Business or Supply Chain
  • 2 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1 year of logistics or transportation experience
