As the International Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for responding to customers and sales representatives who have pricing inquiries, and providing accurate and competitive quotes in a timely manner. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Respond to pricing requests from clients and sales representatives; communicate regarding open proposals
  • Work with vendors (airlines, steamship lines, cartage, etc.) to secure competitive market costs when compiling bids
  • Update current tariffs with any pricing changes from vendors
  • Compose thorough and detailed pricing proposals; research partners for best possible scenarios based on bids
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide training, troubleshooting and other support for software applications managed by the business unit (Cargowise, Catapult, Amber Road, etc.)
  • Analyze data as needed

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in logistics or transportation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with Windows applications; ability to create formulas in Excel
  • Familiarity with the most widely known and emerging tools, technologies and social applications

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
  • Self-motivated work style with the ability to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment
  • Strong aptitude for math and understanding/analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sources
  • Excellent negotiation skills; able to deal effectively with individuals and groups internally and externally; capable of providing timely and professional support
