What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Understand business portfolio to manage accounts
  • Participate in account reviews with sales and accounting teams
  • Analyze trends and identify potential for process improvement within assigned portfolio
  • Collaborate with customers to resolve disputes
  • Maintain daily communication with customers via email and phone regarding payment status
  • Prepare credit memos, check requests and write-offs for approval by credit management

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • 2 years of experience managing commercial accounts receivable portfolios
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel (v-lookups and pivot tables)

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Associate degree in Business or Accounting, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in dispute resolution, problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
