What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Provide advanced system support for Hyperion Consolidations and related third-party applications acting as an internal technical/functional consultant with limited supervision; gather business requirements, design and maintain business applications, configure applications, test systems, and provide production support for end-users
  • Communicate and collaborate with partners to elicit detailed business requirements using a variety of techniques including interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process workflows, value stream mapping, prototypes, storyboards, and user case scenarios
  • Evaluate business requirements, break down high-level information into functional requirements, base requirements on business needs rather than user preferences, reconcile conflicts, and then document the functional requirements
  • Develop work plans, complete objectives, define overall approaches, and mobilize efforts for each initiative
  • Support business requirement definition, process design, process implementation, organizational change, and timing for impacted processes across all work teams

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • 5 years of experience implementing financial consolidations with specific experience in HFM Consolidations & Reporting
  • Demonstrated experience as a senior resource assisting in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process designs, technical and functional configuration, testing, and client user training
  • Experience leading an entire work stream of relevant Hyperion applications
  • Experience in solution design and implementation, managing and creating interfaces, and data migration projects/activities
  • Experience in operation support for accounting and corporate financial shared service departments
  • In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle process
  • Solid understanding of the financial consolidation process and reporting
  • Capability to map business/finance processes to system functionalities

  • Accounting and financial certifications
