What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Manage the incentive processing for assigned groups, including ensuring all data feeds are pulled into the Incentive Compensation system correctly
  • Ensure processing windows are completed in a timely manner and that support is provided to guarantee accurate processing
  • Develop and maintain various reporting processes and procedures to ensure that incentive calculations are accurate and align with plan documents and regulatory guidance
  • Understand plan designs and incentive drivers; identify plan design changes for assessment opportunities
  • Prepare accurate and timely reporting to show the relationship between business metrics and incentive payments
  • Communicate plan, system and payment information to participants and managers
  • Provide sales and incentive analyses that identify key drivers of incentive compensation results; research questions and issues to ensure accurate incentives are calculated
  • Deliver financial modeling to test payout assumptions under certain scenarios and when changes are made to business unit (BU) incentive plans
  • Provide project support and analytics related to financial and other performance metrics for assigned BU plans
  • Partner with other areas to collect and provide information needed for incentive compensation processing and the executive approval processes
  • Document, prioritize and implement system, process, tool and report enhancements for assigned plans
  • Develop and provide ongoing training for new participants; maintain procedures and process documentation to support plan administration

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related area
  • 3 years of relevant sales compensation administration experience
  • Excellent competency in Excel and with HRIS systems

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation
  • Solid ability to prioritize work and successfully manage multiple requests
  • Flexible work style with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; able to effectively interact at all levels of the organization
  • Strong time management skills
