As the Senior Director, Shared Service Strategy, you will be accountable for establishing end-to-end business processes driving standardization and optimization across the finance organization as it relates to budgeting and forecasting, PMO activities and performance management. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Ensure end-to-end P&L’s are managed to budget owners’ expectations including accounting, forecasting and value add insight
  • Develop KPIs and metrics as well as owning dashboarding data for level 1 and 2 requirements and execute on roadmap for FP&A operational reporting
  • Execute projects and programs to stated objectives from both a cost and effectiveness perspective
  • Partner with process owners to drive the improvements needed for them to succeed and improve stakeholder perception in support of operating model and overall strategy
  • Effectively influence stakeholders to drive transformation and deliver anticipated results
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships to increase collaboration and productivity
  • Manage FSS Performance Management and FSS PMO Team Members 

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 7 years of experience in Finance/GBS/SSC

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Finance Transformation experience in a shared service or GBS environment
  • Strong organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills with demonstrated ability to manage expectations and deliver results
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting for larger organization
  • Solid decision making, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • 1-3 years of logistics or transportation experience or experience with high volume transactional business
  • “Big 4” Accounting/Consulting experience
