What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Create, build and maintain databases for the reporting and/or analysis of temporary labor initiatives
  • Develop and oversee key human resources (HR) reports and analytics that drive awareness and help inform key decisions
  • Analyze, synthesize and present meaningful data and reports to HR team; generate ad hoc and self-directed reports/analyses to identify trends, opportunities, issues, etc.
  • Apply knowledge of job analysis, evaluations, grading and pricing to determine and convert relative job worth into monetary values to be administered according to pay scale guidelines
  • Participate in process improvement strategies that utilize current systems, data structures and other technologies
  • Provide analytical services for various compensation programs and projects to ensure objectives are met in an effective, efficient and timely manner such as managing data, reporting and interacting with the HR team
  • Support the annual compensation planning process and systems; assist with data updates and management
  • Promote a consistent approach in crafting HR process solutions through critical assessment and delivery of tools and recommendations
  • Assist with providing guidance to HR Directors and team leaders on compensation policies/practices
  • Provide research and analysis for multiple compensation projects; complete stretch assignments as requested

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 1 year of compensation, HR analysis or generalist related experience
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; able to perform moderate to complex analyses of data with a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality and timeliness
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience analyzing and presenting HR data and reports

It’d be great if you also have:

  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP

  • Strong aptitude and ability to learn and use multiple systems, including Beqom, Economic Research Institute (ERI), CompAnalyst and SuccessFactors
  • Experience working across the various HR disciplines including compensation, recruiting, HRIS and employee relations
  • Strong business partner and consulting capabilities; ability to work independently and assume responsibility for work
  • Excellent time management, organizational, planning and decision-making capabilities
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
