What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Administer weekly billing for assigned clients within the defined timeframe, including preparing the invoice, transmitting invoice to the client and reporting to Finance
  • Administer weekly settlement for assigned clients within the defined timeframe
  • Research and resolve discrepancies according to determined process and workflow
  • Validate invoicing for accuracy; correspond with key stakeholders to resolve inaccuracies or issues
  • Complete daily tasks and monitoring activity to ensure efficiency throughout the week and to prep for weekly invoice cycle
  • Prepare related reports for client, Finance and other key business partners
  • Work closely with Advanced Solutions team to identify, improve and implement effective process changes; manage and monitor improvement actions to measure success of changes

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in accounting, invoicing or freight audit and payment operations
  • Availability to work nights and weekends

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Availability to travel between regions/corporate headquarters as required
  • Experience in accounts receivable or accounts payable
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business applications
  • Ability to communicate to customers, coworkers and management in a professional manner
  • Exceptional attention to detail-oriented tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
