What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Provide guidance to employees on initiating and updating benefit plans 
  • Receive and execute requests regarding benefits program 
  • Maintain accurate employee benefits data; manage reconciliation of benefit invoices against enrolled population
  • Participate in system testing and identification of system and user-interface issues  
  • Monitor and manage case resolution within performance standards and regulatory compliance; reduce time to resolve complex inquiries
  • Support annual audit process of benefit plans and regulatory filings; provide accurate benefits administration and regulatory compliance 
  • Serve as the escalation point of contact for third-party benefits vendor to resolve any inquiries or identified issues
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience, resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction 

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in HR or a related field; 1 year of experience in a benefits role
  • Experience in multiple areas of HR; expertise in benefits processes and regulations (FMLA, HIPAA, IRS regulations, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Project 
  • Knowledge of HR and benefits systems 

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or a related field
  • 4 years of experience in HR or a related field; 2 years of experience in a benefits role 
  • Experience working in a shared services organization 
  • Ability to work well in a team environment; strong relationship management skills with a customer focus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Outstanding process and query management skills
