As the Senior Analyst, Savings Plans, you’ll provide the necessary education and support to ensure employees are taking advantage of the benefits we offer and making the best choices for themselves and their families.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Administer the day-to-day operations of several retirement savings and deferred compensation plans,  interact with plan administrators, and serve as the organization’s subject matter expert for qualified and non-qualified retirement plans in the US, Puerto Rico and Canada
  • Utilize Excel to analyze, research and calculate routine  plan benefits for participants benefiting under a variety of retirement plans. This includes analyzing and calculating eligibility status, contribution limits, loan delinquency and payments to former employees and beneficiaries upon divorce and death 
  • Manage the reconciliation of employee data, required and voluntary contributions and benefit payments, ensure financial accuracy and data integrity related to weekly feeds and annual non-discrimination testing. Support plan compliance with appropriate government regulations and facilitate US and Canadian plan audits by external auditors and regulators
  • Calculate, reconcile, and prepare plan contributions, benefit payments and transfers between plan accounts, reconcile vendor invoices.  Analyze trends and calculate projections to support internal finance and budget processes
  • In partnership with vendors, create and deliver educational presentations to employees and HR teams, report to fiduciary committee regarding plan outcomes and design recommendations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or a related field or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2 years of experience in a benefits role involving retirement plan administration
  • Experience leading benefits-related process improvement and TPA/ vendor management
  • Knowledge of employee benefit regulations (ERISA, IRS, DOL, Canada Revenue Agency, etc.)
  • Knowledge of a variety of HR and benefits systems 

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Ability to work well in a team environment, strong relationship management skills with a customer focus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • ASPPA or CEBS designation
