As the Sr. Director of Investigations, Ethics and Compliance, you will be responsible for investigating potential compliance violations by conducting and leading internal and external investigations into fraud, dishonesty, and other possible wrongdoing at the corporate and operating company level. This role is critical in positioning XPO for long-term success.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Conduct efficient, ethical, and professional investigations in the Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America
  • Act as the point of contact for advice and mentorship on all investigation issues for the organization
  • Lead complex fraud and compliance investigations; effectively summarize findings and mitigation opportunities in written reports
  • Support the Chief Compliance Officer in the management, assessment, and conduct of whistleblowing issues and investigations; review the overall accuracy and completeness of investigations on the case management system
  • Build, oversee, train and mentor a team of global investigators
  • Prepare timely and accurate analytical reports on investigation issues and trends
  • Assist in developing and implementing a standardized triage and investigations protocol across the enterprise
  • Deliver investigative training throughout the company

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Management, or related field
  • 12+ years of experience conducting investigations
  • 10+ years of management experience
  • Experience conducting, leading, and supervising complex investigations in an organization providing audit, internal control, finance, legal, or law enforcement services; experience investigating financial crimes including fraud, money laundering, and bribery
  • Familiarity with data protection laws and the coordination of data protection requirements in the investigative process

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Master’s degree
  • 15+ years of experience conducting investigations
  • 15+ years of experience in management
  • Experience conducting, leading, and supervising complex investigations and an investigations team in a global organization
