What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Work with client to understand the business needs and constraints for new / enhanced processes, systems, applications
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on devising effective and efficient approaches to achieve the project objectives through processes or software updates
• Gain subject matter expertise and serve as a go to person for any IT as well as process solution queries
• Define and enhance the overall business and technical architecture for the systems / applications envisioned
• Prepare system and process solution documents, models, artifacts, work products and presentations
• Represent solution architecture and requirements to all applicable stakeholders
• Contribute to the overall planning of projects by recommending approaches, identifying resources, and developing timelines. Leverage lifecycle implementation experience to anticipate changes required in project plans and processes. Effectively communicate issues and alternative solutions. Take initiative to achieve valued-added results and improve upon solutions offered
• Work with IT product and development teams to develop the solution.
• Work with field ops teams to implement and monitor the success of the solution.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 2 or more years of experience in business, IT, SDLC, process modeling, and solution development
• Proficient in building and maintaining toolchains

It’d be great if you also have:

• Experience in full life cycle IT delivery, solution development, implementation planning, hands-on implementation, and execution
• Experience in process model development and alignment of IT systems to business needs by building processes around it
