As the Senior HR Manager, you will administer HR policies and programs to assigned sites. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Work closely with plant operations and HR team to ensure an “open door” climate exists, resulting in excellent customer service
  • Manage all aspects of the HR department and supervise staff members
  • Inform senior management and operations of internal and external HR developments that impact overall effectiveness
  • Compile reports and provide to upper management
  • Ensure HR office is in compliance with all corporate policies and directives

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment at a manager level
  • Experience in employee relations, policy and procedure administration, recruiting and staffing, and HRIS and time-keeping system knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

  • Ability to provide management with proactive ideas on creating and maintaining a positive employee relations climate
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
