What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Independently perform software functional testing to ensure the product meets system specifications on assigned projects; distinguish between critical and noncritical errors
  • Perform software regression testing to ensure that no defects are introduced from changes made during and between design cycles
  • Create and prioritize basic to complex manual test cases using industry best practices for testing methodology
  • Participate in and provide feedback for the requirements, design and interface specification reviews to ensure product testability
  • Collaborate with team on continuous improvement of QA standards and processes; act as a resource and mentor for less-experienced team members
  • Effectively communicate status, issues and concerns with supervisor, manager and team members
  • Create or upload manual test cases in Quality Center (QC); execute test scripts, report and maintain defects in QC

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4 years of experience as a QA analyst, and 2 years of experience with HP Quality Center/ALM
  • Financial/accounting systems experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Procure to Pay or Order to Cash processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) 
  • Demonstrated understanding of testing methodologies through application of concepts and techniques learned during software testing professional certification, or from equivalent work experience

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Experience with Oracle EBS modules: AP, AR, GL, FA and Project Accounting
  • Selenium Test Automation tool experience
  • Experience in agile environments
  • Strong knowledge of QA automation frameworks and test suites for user interface (UI) and non-UI applications
  • Proficiency with databases and writing complex SQL queries
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
