As the Senior Engineer, Software Integration, you will be responsible for ensuring that all server systems are operating as efficiently and productively as possible. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Design, develop, deploy and maintain integration processes between applications across the cloud and/or on premises using Dell Boomi AtomSphere platform (cloud integration, application integration and enterprise web service APIs)
  • Manage, monitor, troubleshoot and support existing integrations
  • Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to determine and define integration requirements and create solution options
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise and work with architects, other tech leads, systems analysts and QA to ensure development activities are aligned with scope, schedule, priority and business objectives
  • Analyze integration requirements and perform gap analysis; create technical design documents and maintain source/destination field mapping library
  • Implement encryption and security protocols; protect and safeguard sensitive information at rest and in transit
  • Perform unit testing and maintain developmental artifacts for audit compliance
  • Contribute to long-term vision by implementing methodologies and procedures, while conforming to standard integration patterns, modern technical innovations and best practices

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 years of relevant experience with 2 full-cycle project implementations
  • Strong understanding of various protocols/methods of communication, including XML, XML Schemas, WSDL, SOAP, REST, JSON, Groovy, FTP, SFTP, PGP, JDBC/SQL/RDBMS, JMS, Mail and HTTP/HTTPS
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-based landscapes for distributed architecture, Atom/Molecule sizing and benchmarking

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Professional Dell Boomi Developer or Architect certification
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors modules and implementing integrations for global HR, payroll and time and attendance initiatives; experience with data models and Integrations, Jira, Talend or other middleware tools and technologies
  • Programming experience with Java and related technologies
  • Experience creating a service catalog; API management and automation development experience
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated work style; able to work well with minimal supervision
