As the Systems Engineer Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and developing configurations to support and maintain the B2B connections in all phases, including the development cycle. You will also communicate with IT teams to work on various layers of the infrastructure, using collaborative problem-solving and sophisticated design to ensure the high quality and performance of B2B connections. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Collaborate regularly within and across business units to discuss and determine technical B2B connectivity solutions
  • Act as a liaison for customers, business partners and IT personnel to configure data connections and enable data and document exchanges, file resends, file inquiries, B2B connectivity information requests and partner connectivity/authentication
  • Monitor Axway Interchange or B2Bi connections; respond to and resolve production issues, and maintain flow of data through applications and systems
  • Assist with testing product upgrades and patches; perform the required regression testing
  • Provide support to the system architect for product and process enhancements

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in IT solutions development
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases
  • Familiarity with continuous integration
  • Understanding of agile software development principles
  • Proven ability to implement automated test platforms and unit tests

It’d be great if you also have:

  • 1 year of experience in the transportation/logistics industry
  • Axway Interchange, B2Bi experience
  • Solid knowledge of common B2B protocols such as FTP, SFTP, AS2 and RNIF
  • Knowledge of Unix, Oracle, Java and Microsoft Office tools; ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new/internal software applications
  • Strong time and project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
