What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Interact with leadership to ensure flow of orders is executed efficiently
  • Perform quality checks on orders that require export filings
  • Recommend processes and concepts to improve movement, cost-saving and profitability 
  • Record information and maintain dashboard for international errors; ensure client is given status updates as needed
  • Assist with trade compliance projects
  • Oversee record retention practices for site, ensuring all inbound/outbound files comply with regulations and are properly maintained and stored

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • 2 or more years of related experience reading, interpreting and analyzing domestic and international shipping documents, contracts and procedures
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated experience with business intelligence (BI) and consolidation (HFM) tools

It’d be great if you also have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, team members, management, vendors, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
