As the Principal Engineer, Technology Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for performing quality assurance checks on new projects, production incidents and periodic regression testing, as well as coordinating and assisting in user acceptance testing performed by end users. You will use your knowledge of functional requirements to create test strategies, plans and scripts, stage data and participate in the execution of testing. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Create test plans and lead test execution and defect management across the various functional streams
  • Participate in reviewing project deliverables, including requirement specifications, functional design documents and technical design documents
  • Handle all aspects of quality assurance, including establishing metrics, applying industry standard methodologies and developing new dashboards and processes to meet quality goals
  • Act as the key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally
  • Define testing standards and strategies
  • Provide periodic test execution reports to project partners
  • Maintain test evidences and other test artifacts for audit compliance

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 5 years of experience as a QA Analyst

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Certification in quality assurance
  • 5 years of experience as a QA analyst experience leading quality assurance cycles with a focus on testing large, multi-tiered systems consisting of multiple applications including Web based and Mobile Apps
  • Good understanding of the SDLC
  • Management experience and proven ability to lead distributed team onsite and offshore
  • Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software testing solutions
  • Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
  • Jira and SAP SuccessFactors modules and Integrations experience
  • Experienced in using JIRA, Zephyr, ZAPI, Selenium Webdriver, Team city or similar QA Process and Test Automation Tools
