As the Senior Analyst, Information Security (Forensics) you will be conducting digital forensic examinations (computer, phone, email, etc.) in support of human resources and internal investigations.  They will be responsible for scoping of the case to identify sources of evidence, forensic imaging / analysis of devices, and reporting of findings.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Conduct computer forensic examinations to include the collection, preservation, processing, and analysis of digital evidence in support of internal investigations.
  • Create and present detailed technical reports related to findings from forensic analysis.
  • Develop and maintain detailed processes and procedures for digital forensic analysis to drive efficiency.
  • Partner with human resources, internal investigations, and legal teams to develop investigative strategy when digital evidence is potentially required.
  • Manage intake, storage, and retention of digital forensic evidence in support of ongoing or potential investigations

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2 years of experience conducting computer forensic acquisitions and analysis, using open-source and commercial digital forensic tools (Encase, FTK, Axiom, Cellebrite, Autopsy, etc.) and writing and presenting computer forensic reports and findings

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber related field or related Computer Forensic Experience and training
  • Master’s degree in Cyber related field
  • Experience in presenting technical findings to a non-technical audience
  • Experience in documenting and maintaining evidence chain-of-custody
  • Understanding of Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis, documentation, and reporting
  • One or more of the following Certifications: IACIS Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE),
  • IACIS Certified Mobile Device Examiner (ICMDE), EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), Cellebrite Certified Mobile Examiner (CCME),
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Strong problem-solving, networking, and team-building skills
