As the Specialist, Customer Care, you will handle inbound and outbound phone calls, emails and SMS texts for a specific account to ensure that routes and deliveries are scheduled appropriately. This position works with our market managers, carriers and client representatives.  What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Route monitoring/dispatching
  • Order management (same day, unassigned)
  • Provide excellent customer service to assigned client stores
  • Record thorough notes with attention to detail in our system(s)
  • Communicate with customers and internal associates utilizing technology and problem-solving skills

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • 1 year of related work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel), and other business-related applications 

It’d be great if you also have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 + years in a Call Center or Route Monitoring/Dispatch environment
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to exercise appropriate judgment, especially with upward communication
