Analyst, Pricing - Hybrid

What you’ll need to succeed as a Pricing Analyst XPO

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent work or military experience
• 1 year of experience in quantitative analysis
• Able to use computer-generated decision support modeling
• Able to collaborate with Pricing team leadership to establish and implement a pricing strategy and tactical plan.
• Able to do a critical quantitative evaluation and make recommendations
• Able to perform cost/revenue analysis based on input from several departments

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mathematics or Finance
• Master’s degree
• Experience with SQL and statistical packages
• Experience working in the LTL industry
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Solid organizational and analytical skills
• Able to multitask and manage deadlines

What you’ll do on a typical day:

•  

  • Analysis and implementation of existing and new business opportunities
  • Communication and prioritization with the sales organization 
  • Collaboration with Pricing Leadership, Sales, Operations, PMO, IT, and others on key strategic initiatives
  • Evaluation of completed analytical events to determine if outcomes were as modeled, finding opportunities and strategizing with sales on necessary modifications
  • Acquire business acumen and various other skillsets needed to positively impact the organization in future roles
