What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Understand technical architecture and design, and build the design
  • Develop a best-in-class microservices-based platform that delivers excellent results through rapid iterations
  • Design and develop state-of-the-art approaches to solving complex problems
  • Interact directly with business owners to define and understand requirements; work on projects alongside other developers, designers, QA and product owners
  • Lead teams of software development engineers

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 years of software development experience with large-scale internet-facing systems
  • Strong technical design and programming skills, including proficiency in microservices, .NET development, SQL Server and JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience with agile development practices

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with Angular
  • Experience working with cross-functional and offshore teams
  • Proficiency in Windows applications and Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications
  • Knowledge, understanding and familiarity with the most widely known and emerging tools, technologies and social applications
  • Strong attention to detail with proven ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and get results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
