Procurement Specialist (maritime cargo transport)

Logistics done differently.

We are looking for a Procurement & Pricing Specialist, who will be responsible for supervising and optimizing the costs of maritime cargo transport.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Negotiation with shipping companies 

• Negotiation of tenders and projects 

• Negotiation with road transport, warehouses 

• Quote our customers 

• Transport procedures 

• Work to improve quality, productivity and efficiency 

• Costs reduction 

• Customer service retention 

• Support to operational and commercial departments.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Minimum experience of 5 years Import / Export Sea / Negotiation / NAC’S
• Experience with shipping lines Iberia 
• Good command of Excel and PowerPoint 
• Communication: Good verbal and written skills 
• Team management 
• Language skills: English and Spanish


 

It’d be great if you also have:

• French
