What you’ll need to succeed as an Adjudication Analyst at XPO
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 1 year of experience in human resources, criminal justice, legal, compliance, or a related field
- Experience supporting background screening processes
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment‑related background check laws
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word)
- Experience creating or updating work instructions or process documentation
Preferred qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in human resources, criminal justice, legal, compliance, or a related area
- 2+ years of experience working with background screening programs
- Experience supporting drug screens
- Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint
- Experience using First Advantage
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work systematically, prioritize tasks, and follow established processes with moderate supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and contribute to team goals
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Facilitate individualized assessments for background checks, which include reviewing background check results and candidate responses to determine if the applicant meets XPO’s requirements to be hired
- Respond to inquiries about XPO background check practices and processes
- Monitor and track background check statuses, including identifying and analyzing trends
- Run reports relating to XPO background check practices and processes
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams in a fast-paced environment
- Create and maintain work instructions and procedures as requested
- Perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary
