As the Business Systems Analyst III, you will work closely with Accounting, Procurement, and Business Line Group staff in the support of Oracle applications; specifically, Oracle General Ledger, Receivables, Payables, Purchasing, Inventory, and Assets modules. You will be responsible for performing highly complex analysis, testing, and documentation on application projects, application support, and enhancement requests. This role is critical in positioning XPO for long-term success.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Participate in the complex review and analysis of business requirements and the configuration, mapping, and management of processes
  • Document highly complex system specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements
  • Develop and perform testing as needed; ensure tasks conform to specifications/processes and standardized best practices
  • Lead the development team in the deployment/implementation of IT solutions
  • Provide system and customer support to users including escalated issue resolution; accurately repair and document changes to the system, as assigned
  • Develop and maintain application training manuals and system documentation
  • Monitor system and application performance; troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • 7 years of experience in IT solutions development with 5 or more years of direct experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)
  • Strong knowledge of the Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes
  • Working knowledge of query tools (PL/SQL, Toad, SQL Plus)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the IT software development life cycle methodologies and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to apply understanding of functionality of multiple transportation-related systems
  • Availability for periodic 24/7 on-call support as required by team’s rotation schedule

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Lean/Six Sigma certification
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Lean concepts
