As the Senior Analyst, HRIT, you will be responsible for interpreting customer business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements. You will also serve as a subject matter expert and liaison with team members in business, technology, and leadership. Please note that this position is in scope to transition to the brokered transportation services company that will be created with the planned separation of XPO’s North American Transportation business from its less-than-truckload (LTL) business. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of new or enhanced Kronos system functionality
  • You'll collaborate with HRIT and HR Reporting to develop analytical reports for Leadership on request and perform data analysis to resolve issues, while ensuring compliance with changing federal and state wage and hour legislation
  • Responsible for running/loading weekly and bi-weekly Kronos interfaces
  • Assist People Services and Business Unit management with Kronos related escalations
  • Partner with BU HR Leadership and HRIT to support new policy implementation relative to Kronos
  • Act as functional Kronos system super-user for the payroll area and touch points with SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll
  • Liaise with other areas of the business/COEs such as HR, Compensation, HRIT, HR Technology, and other stakeholders, to collaborate on the business requirement documentation, design, and testing of Kronos enhancements
  • Monitor continuing support and maintenance of the new application functionality
  • Ensure Kronos system functionality is configured in compliance with US/Canada Federal and state wage and hour/employment laws
  • Provide mentoring and training for payroll analysts and specialists as well as other end-users on new Kronos system changes/enhancements, including HR Business Partners as needed
  • Liaise with training team to update documentation for new business processes and assist with user training guides
  • Provide production payroll support by troubleshooting and identifying configuration issues and resolving end user input discrepancies
  • Administer and prepare documentation for functional Kronos procedures and controls
  • Create advanced hyper-find queries and genies

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2 years of timekeeping system, HRIS, and/or payroll administration experience, preferably in a large, multi-national company
  • Experience with Kronos timekeeping systems
  • SuccessFactors and/or SAP payroll experience
  • Knowledge of advanced reporting skills (MS Excel, SQL, etc.)
  • Other extensive HR/Payroll/Timekeeping system knowledge such as PeopleSoft, Workday, UltiPro, etc

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Experience in Human Resources Shared Service departments
  • Experience working in JIRA
  • Experience working in a SDLC process driven organization
  • Strong analytical and follow-up skills with ability to identify and resolve problems
