What you’ll need to succeed as a Supervisor AR at XPO

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 3 years of experience in Billing, AR, Cash Apps, Collections or a related field
• Able to read and interpret pricing contracts
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadline
• Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2 years of proven experience building efficient and effective teams
• Experience working with customer master file systems
• Freight LTL, Transportation, Logistics, and Supply Chain industry experience
• Experience working in a high-volume/high-transaction environment
• Advanced Microsoft Office Word, Excel (Pivot, Vlookup) and PowerPoint

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Set, measure and prioritize objectives to align with departmental targets and individual development needs
• Coordinate and supervise daily activities; set priorities that ensure task completion
• Prioritize and assign tasks for direct reports; establish work schedules
• Prepare performance evaluations and support employee development
• Ensure decisions and problem-solving align with policies, procedures and business plans
• Audit performance, reduce errors and maximize departmental efficiency
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities within the department, review with management
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Develop strategies for problematic customer situations
• Build and foster solid relationships with other functional teams, customers and employees
