What you’ll need to succeed as a Supervisor AR at XPO
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
- 3 years of experience in Billing, AR, Cash Apps, Collections or a related field
- Able to read and interpret pricing contracts
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadline
- Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 2 years of proven experience building efficient and effective teams
- Experience working with customer master file systems
- Freight LTL, Transportation, Logistics, and Supply Chain industry experience
- Experience working in a high-volume/high-transaction environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office Word, Excel (Pivot, Vlookup) and PowerPoint

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Set, measure and prioritize objectives to align with departmental targets and individual development needs
- Coordinate and supervise daily activities; set priorities that ensure task completion
- Prioritize and assign tasks for direct reports; establish work schedules
- Prepare performance evaluations and support employee development
- Ensure decisions and problem-solving align with policies, procedures and business plans
- Audit performance, reduce errors and maximize departmental efficiency
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities within the department, review with management
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Develop strategies for problematic customer situations
- Build and foster solid relationships with other functional teams, customers and employees
