As the Manager, Early Career for our LTL business you will report to the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition and drive the sourcing strategy to attract university graduates, apprentices, veterans, and other early career professionals. You’ll build significant and sustainable relationships with targeted and key partners that will fuel pipeline talent to support early career hiring programs while also working with various XPO service center locations across the country.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Support the build and delivery of a comprehensive early career recruiting strategy
  • Ensure associates maintain a strong connection to the program throughout its life cycle; provide oversight to final placement following program completion
  • Translate functional business roadmaps into an integrated approach for engaging and attracting early career talent
  • Partner closely with senior leaders, as well as the Employment Branding, Social Media, Communications, Marketing and Global Branding teams to ensure consistency and brand adherence
  • Regularly review strategy and results with the business unit and Learning and Development teams to improve program offerings for entry-level talent
  • Assist in the development of innovative and creative ways to attract the most diverse candidates to XPO
  • Maintain knowledge and stay current with industry trends to allow for continuous improvement across the programs

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 5 years of experience supporting companywide recruiting programs and interacting with senior leadership

It would be great if you also have: 

  • Experience with building recruitment strategies for veterans and campus recruiting
  • Demonstrated confidence in all settings when advising/partnering with business leaders
  • Ability to partner well across business lines and provide excellent customer service in all cases
  • Proven ability to prioritize effectively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing demands and deadlines
