What you’ll need to succeed as an Executive Administrative Assistant at XPO

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 5 or more years of experience supporting a senior executive
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and other related software as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively multitask and meet deadlines
  • Experience with event planning logistics
  • Comfortable with learning new software and online tools

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • An eye for detail, conscientiousness and thoroughness when completing work
  • Highly organized work style
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A "no job is too big or too small" attitude

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Serve as the executive assistant to the global chief human resources officer
  • Offer additional support to other senior executives as needed
  • Maintain accurate calendars and prioritize important deliverables
  • Plan and arrange domestic and international travel itineraries and accommodations
  • Complete expense reports, invoicing and external billing for suppliers
  • Draft high-level presentations, communications and documents using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Collaborate with others to organize various team events
  • Lead various engagement activities for the corporate office
  • Provide backup support to other administrative professionals in the office during their absences or vacations
