As the Senior Associate, Social Media, you will use your knowledge and experience in social media and digital to increase engagement with customers, employees, investors and other stakeholders. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Create high-quality, compelling written and visual content tailored to each social media platform.
- Write, edit and proofread social media copy for leadership
- Triage communication from social media comments and DMs escalate with appropriate teams for resolution
- Support our digital marketing strategy focused on branding, thought leadership and engagement across social media platforms; maintain an editorial calendar that drives consistent content and follow relevant industry trends for third-party content opportunities to build audiences and grow engagement
- Create and analyze success of Social Media and digital ad campaigns
- Present reports, findings, and recommendations to leadership teams
- Help draft content for other digital properties like our website blog and resource center.
- Help populate and manage master social media calendar
- Research new social media trends and present them to the global communications team
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 2 year of related work experience in social and digital media
- Strong Microsoft Office experience (PowerPoint and Excel) and PC skills
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills
- Ability to work with initiative, creativity, attention to detail and confidentiality.
It’d be great if you also have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a Social Science
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and get along with diverse personalities
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines, prioritize and multi-task in a rapidly changing environment
