As the Manager, Information Security, you will be responsible for performing, facilitating and documenting the complex analysis, development and testing of security methodologies and technologies. You’ll utilize your knowledge and experience with incident response, threat analysis, governance, risk management and compliance to help keep our operations running smoothly. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Manage resources to research, plan and implement security engineering solutions.
- Coordinate one or more teams to ensure projects and capabilities are completed to meet agreed upon timelines.
- Collaborate with business and infrastructure stakeholders to ensure security considerations are adhered to.
- Provide architectural and implementation recommendations for Application development.
- Collaborate with other Security towers to ensure engineering capabilities are reviewed and tuned to improve efficacy and efficiency.
- Initiate and help establish security guidelines and controls.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Information Security
It’d be great if you also have:
- Hands on experience with SNOW ITSM ticket management.
- Technical understanding of core Information Security engineering concepts.
- Experience managing multiple team members in a moderate to large enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of the OSI Network Model as it applies to interconnectivity between endpoints, infrastructure, cloud and applications.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end systems integration.
- Experience leading a Vulnerability Management Program
- Cloud experience with one or more providers: Azure, Google, Oracle or AWS.
- Technical expertise and direct hands-on experience with multiple security tools in the past (does not have to be recent).
- Proven track record of successfully delivering business requirements on time and within budget
