As the Customer Sales Support Specialist, you will work directly with customers to resolve disputes, as well as schedule, quote and track shipments. If you’re ready to build a career you can be proud of, we have the opportunity for you to grow with XPO.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Work directly with customers to track shipments, provide rate quotes and schedule pick-ups and deliveries.
- Follow up with online customer spot quotes and try and close and/or upsell business on behalf of our sales team.
- Research and resolve billing issues; manage claims resolution, filing and tracking; submit corrections and dispute resolution requests
- Perform over, short and damaged freight assessments
- Scan shipment documents
- Provide website support; provide operational assistance including routing and planning
- Resolve customer escalation matters for Account Executives
- Log sales activity into Salesforce.com
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- 1 year of customer service or sales experience
- Strong typing and 10-key skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
It’d be great if you also have:
- Associate degree in a related field
- 3 years of experience in a customer service role or sales role with proven selling skills as well as experience handling customer issues professionally and swiftly
- Experience with Salesforce.com
- Transportation experience
- Excellent time management, organizational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
