As the Contract Administrator, you will perform procurement/contract administrator functions for new deals, process change orders for existing deals and ensure contractual compliance for the Vendor Management Office (VMO) vendors. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Set up and maintain all files in and out of the procurement systems
- Prepare, review, execute and manage the process for contract approvals and change orders
- Set up new Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
- Execute all forms of RFx
- Ensure procedures are in place for processing payments and invoices for VMO vendors and contracts
- Maintain VMO vendor spend summaries and details
- Manage and resolve minor contractual disputes
- Act as liaison to other IT teams and business units to represent the VMO and the content of contracts management
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 1 year of experience working as a contract administrator, paralegal, project manager or similar role
- Proficiency with Windows applications and Microsoft Office
- Availability to work extended hours, including weekends; able to travel occasionally between regions and corporate headquarters
It’d be great if you also have:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively work on multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to perform complex analyses of data, processes, policies, procedures and/or systems
- Team-oriented work style with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to increase accuracy and optimize resources; able to develop, recommend and implement solutions
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills; able to collaborate effectively with individuals and groups within and outside the organization

Employees are paid within a salary range based on their experience, skill set, and market.
Colorado annual salary range: $59,830 to $74,788
New York annual salary range: $62,680 to $78,349
California annual salary range: $65,529 to $81,911
Washington State annual salary range: $62,680 to $78,349
Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set (e.g., if an applicant far exceeds the minimum and preferred qualifications for the role).
In addition to base salary, employees may be eligible for a sign-on bonus, annual and long-term incentive awards, and an equity buyout award
