Analyst, Fixed Asset

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Responsible for capitalization of fixed assets, placing assets into service, depreciation, disposal accounting and manage any changes to Fixed Assets within the specified timelines.  

  • Reconciliations- regular Posting and monitoring & reconciliations of the activities for aging items.  

  • Research and Support of items required during audit or other business requirements as needed by Group accounting.  

Initiate smooth functioning of the process in Shared Service Environment by meeting all SLA for the process.  

  • Perform daily transactional activities and standard month end activities for Fixed Assets as per the standard procedure as defined in the SOP’s.  

  • Generate and provide reports from fixed asset as required for financial, tax, and audit purposes (Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly reports)  

  • Ensuring compliance with internal control system  

  •  Taking part in transition, making sure knowledge is acquired and documented  

  •  Maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders  

  • Collaborating with other teams in continuous improvement activities and initiatives focusing on delivering efficiency, transparency and standardization  

Creating and updating DTPs and any knowledge management files  

What you need to succeed at XPO:

Education/Experience:  

Minimum Required Education:  

  •  Graduate / Post-Graduate (preferably MBA Finance or Graduation in Commerce)  

  • Oracle skills preferred – SAP would be low priority, Excel, Accounting knowledge,  

  • Experience 2 to 5 years
