Position Overview:
This role will be responsible for designing and developing instructional content using adult learning principles and frameworks. You will facilitate training sessions across leadership, soft skills, compliance, and technical domains, adapting delivery style to suit diverse learner groups and cultural contexts.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Engage with business leaders to conduct training needs analysis, identifying skill gaps, and aligning learning solutions with strategic goals.
- Design and develop instructional content using adult learning principles and frameworks such as ADDIE, tailored to both in-person and virtual delivery formats.
- Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, manuals, facilitator guides, and job aids.
- Facilitate training sessions across leadership, soft skills, compliance, and technical domains—adapting delivery style to suit diverse learner groups and cultural contexts.
- Coordinate training logistics such as scheduling, venue setup, participant communications, and post-session evaluations.
- Track and analyze training effectiveness using learner feedback, engagement metrics, and performance data to continuously improve programs.
- Collaborate with SMEs and HR partners to ensure content relevance and alignment with organizational priorities.
- Manage external vendors occasionally, including sourcing, evaluating proposals, negotiating contracts, and overseeing delivery quality.
- Support LMS administration, including uploading content, managing enrollments, and troubleshooting learner issues.
- Lead various team initiatives, such as onboarding programs, leadership development, and culture-building workshops.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in corporate training, instructional design, or talent development.
It’d be great if you also have:
- 8+years of relevant experience.
- Strong background in training needs analysis, instructional design, and facilitation.
- Certifications in Leadership Development, Six Sigma, Lean, SL2, and Franklin Covey programs, and MS Excel are an added advantage
- Experience with LMS platforms and MS tools (Word, PowerPoint presentation)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Exposure to vendor management and cross-functional collaboration.
