Kronos Developer

What you will do on a typical day:

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve kickouts and data issues with all integrations
  • Update and build integrations, using UKG’s Integration Designer tool, to send and receive data to/from other applications, frequently requiring complex formulas and variables
  • Query the Kronos oracle database to satisfy data requests for legal and HR
  • Customize reports using Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Provide support to other teams wishing to send or receive data via APIs
  • Collaborate with Kronos Systems Analysts on updates to integrations and reports to support configuration enhancements
  • Develop SQL queries for Kronos Systems Analysts
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation

 

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • Five (5) years of experience developing Kronos integrations, queries, and custom reports, preferably in large corporate environments
  • Experience with complex pay rule and accrual profile assignments that are based on a variety of demographic values
  • Experience building out application servers and connecting to DB
  • Experience installing software, releases, and patches
  • Strong analytical skills including problem-solving, attention to detail, and clear communication of complex results
  • Ability to communicate business needs to technical people and to communicate and simplify complex technical information for non-technical people. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and shift gears on a short notice
  • Integrity and maintain the confidential nature of the information by protecting the privacy of our employees and their records
  • Highly organized and motivated with demonstrated ability to manage tasks and multiple priorities

 

It would be great if you also have:

  • Understanding and is familiar with the most widely known and emerging HR tools, technologies, and social applications
  • Prior experience migrating from UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) Workforce Central to UKG Workforce Dimensions
  •  
  • Boomi development experience
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors: data model, SFAPI/ODATA API and Integration Center
  • Strong understanding of various protocols/methods of communication (XML, XML Schemas, WSDL, SOAP, REST, JSON, Groovy, FTP, SFTP, PGP, JDBC/SQL/RDBMS, JMS, Mail, HTTP/HTTPS)
  • Experience with implementing integrations for Global HR, Payroll and Time & Attendance initiatives
  • Experience with Jira
  • Experience other middleware tools & technologies
  • Experience with integration performance tuning and process improvements
  • Programming experience with Java and related technologies
  • Experience with creating Service catalog & API Management
  • Automation development experience would be a plus
  • Professional Dell Boomi Developer or Architect certification would be a plus
  • Be part of something big.
