What you'll do in typical day :

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans and test cases.
• Identify, document, and track defects in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to determine testing needs.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks.
• Mentor and guide junior QA staff to improve their testing skills.
• Participate in requirement reviews to provide input on testability of functional requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and provide input on design decisions to promote quality from the ground up.
• Design, automate, and execute test cases for new and existing features, ensuring complete coverage and identifying areas for improvement.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance.

• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium/Playwright (Preferred), Rest Assured (Optional), and programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for automated testing integration.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
