What you’ll do on a typical day:
• Partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with company goals with a focus on increasing employee engagement, retention, and employee development.
• Analyze business trends and identify HR needs to address challenges proactively.
• Acts as a liaison between stakeholders and internal teams to address specific needs, resolve issues, and create a seamless experience that reflects the organization’s values and priorities.
• Conduct workforce analysis to identify talent gaps, succession planning needs, and future workforce requirements.
• Lead and consult to support organizational change initiatives by communicating effectively, managing stakeholder expectations, and providing necessary training.
• Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and inform decision-making.
• Drive initiatives to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
• Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, evaluations, and improvement plans.
• Act as a business partner to leadership and employees on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance processes for our India workforce.
• Understand the business landscape and market trends to inform HR decision-making.
• Provide data-driven insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
• Guide and collaborate with HR centers of excellence to create an inclusive and holistic HR experience within our India offices.
• Serve as a liaison between internal customers and leadership; assist with employee issues, provide guidance on resolutions, and establish and maintain positive employee and community relations.
• Provide guidance and coaching to management to help develop a strong performing team.
• Partner with training team on the identification and execution of various training initiatives that support the growth and objectives of the business.
• Utilize your experience to collaborate with the talent management and compensation teams to ensure best practices are achieved while focused on balance between business deliverables and talent needs.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive-related experience, with at least 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong proficiency in the English language; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audiences.
• Proven experience in strategic HR planning and execution.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational goals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PPT
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems.
• Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on results and a focus on quality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices to ensure compliant HR operations.
It’d be great if you also have:
• Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is highly desirable.
