2 x Transport Controllers

We are looking to bring on-board a Night Transport Controller at our busy depot in Robertsbridge, on a full-time permanent basis with our British Gypsum contract.

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £34,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You will have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• You will cost effectively plan and dispatch routes/trunks to achieve contractual delivery times for the site
• Review the cost effectiveness of routes/trunks through KPI analysis, taking remedial action where necessary to improve our service
• Report to the Transport Manager to ensure the operation runs smoothly
• Champion our ‘Road to Zero’ H&S policy ensuring a safe working environment for everyone

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Previous experience of working within a fast-paced haulage environment would be a distinct advantage
• IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft packages such as Word, Outlook and Excel
