Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. We’re looking for a talented Logistics Coordinator to organise and manage sub-contracted hauliers to service our customer. You’ll be working Monday to Friday days.



Pay, benefits and more:



We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £25,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.



What you’ll do on a typical day:



  • Be the primary contact point for customers and haulier partners
  • Ensure that safety, service and savings targets are adhered to
  • Working with a team ethos to ensure an excellent and valued service is provided to our customer
  • Proactively support and action the daily activities of XPO Logistics’ operations on behalf of the key account customer, JLA
  • Monitor the operational pick and despatch notes
  • Planning and execution of deliveries and collections each date
  • Reduce monitor and report subcontractor spend
  • Create excellence in customer relationship by improving the service offered.
  • Complete and distribute KPI information, both internally and to the customer each day/week and month
  • To support on the interface between XPO Logistics and its clients, ensuring that all orders are planned correctly on the day requested
  • Communications with the customer on all day-to-day activities, issues etc
  • Proactively support operational planning and changing customer requirements.
  • Support Contract Manager on days off - ensuring all operational duties are actioned.
  • Ensure general administration, e-mails, scanning, filing, queries, claims etc is handled in accordance with company requirements and to deadlines.
