As a Product Analyst you will be responsible for interpreting customer business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements. You will also serve as a subject matter expert and liaison with team members in business, technology, and leadership. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Perform the identification, review and analysis of business and product requirements; assist in the design and development of products that address specific business needs
  • Gather/synthesize data to ensure requirements address the right business problems; ensure resolution with implementation
  • Ensure delivery within established test criteria and assist in executing user acceptance testing (UAT); make sure that development/testing meets all product requirements
  • Conduct strategic discussions and ideation sessions with business leaders to innovate beyond feature enhancements; serve as a partner in change management, working to ensure system adoption
  • Create excitement and an end-to-end user experience that delights users, in their language, in a way that makes it easy for them to adopt, evangelize and benefit
  • Plan/facilitate/participate in UAT with the business and development teams to provide technical clarity and capture bugs, feedback and enhancement opportunities as they are encountered
  • Reviews tested functionality with developers, matching delivered product to original requirements
  • Develops process flow charts as required to support use case/business requirements understanding

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1 years of Product Analyst or Technology solution experience in an Agile environment
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Experience documenting user requirements

It’d be great if you also have:

  • QA Testing experience
  • General understanding of UX design principles and patterns
  • Ability to query a database using SQL
  • Experience documenting API requirements and using API testing tool such as Postman or SoapUI
  • Ability to create visual models for Software Requirements
