As the Manager, Operations, you’ll oversee an experienced operations team in one of our branches and ensure operations are running smoothly. We’ll count on your skills and experience to be a champion of our company values, ensuring an engaged workforce, loyal customers, efficient operations, and a bright future for yourself and XPO.


What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Ensuring the day to day international import and export operations of the office run effectively
  • Manage the workload of the staff and recommend any needed staffing adjustments; Handle any escalated issues as necessary
  • Drive team productivity to ensure KPIs are achieved
  • Communicate with customers, vendors and operations to ensure customer commitments are met
  • Establish procedures for maintaining overall company quality objectives
  • Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively
  • Ensure all records/reports are completed on time and maintained appropriately


What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • 4 years of operations experience

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2 years of experience leading a team with a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) company
  • Experience managing Profit & Loss statements
  • Experience with CargoWise is a plus.
  • Experience managing a warehouse.
  • Strong problem-solving techniques and statistical analysis skills
