Warehouse Shift Manager - Burton Latimer

XPO Logistics are looking for a Shift Manager for our Weetabix contract in Burton Latimer. This is your opportunity to take charge of a busy and unique warehouse operation. Working on a continental shift pattern, which is a rotation of days and night shifts. You’ll be comfortable challenging process and driving the operation forwards – does this sound like something for you?

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £43095.25 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Take overall responsibility for the day to day running of the shift function, including the relationship with the customer 
• Drive standards for operational compliance and health and safety
• Ensure that late shift KPIs are hit are meet the customer SLAs
• Get involved in HR activity, including incident investigations, disciplinaries and performance management

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• A strong, demonstrable background in warehouse management
• Ideally, you’ll have worked in a 3PL environment and understand customer needs
• Practical exposure to WMS systems including RedPrairie, and ideally, a working knowledge of SAP
• Experience successfully performance managing leadership teams
